It was one wild and wacky wedding weekend for actress Sarah Shahi (Life) and her fiance, fellow actor Steve Howey (Reba). First, let’s point out that Sarah’s already pregnant, but that’s not even the unorthodox part of these nuptials. It wound up with the actual ceremony in the Elvis Presley chapel with the entire bridal party wearing sunglasses and listening to a one-hour Presley impersonator show!

And that’s not even the strangest part of the weekend!

Steve Howey & Sarah Shahi

The zany madcap affair to remember began Friday night. For fun, Steve and Sarah held their own “rehearsal dinner” as part of the new Tony & Tina’s Wedding production at Planet Hollywood, where everything that could go wrong with matrimony simply explodes into unmitigated disaster. Included in the group was actor Joe Gannascolli (The Sopranos).

Fortunately, the Sarah and Steve wedding party of family and friends laughed their way through it, and then partied until 3 a.m. in the VIP section of Prive at Planet Hollywood. Sarah stuck with water, but Steve had a few Patron tequila shots. Also there offering congratulations were brothers Andrew and Matthew Lawrence.

After the official wedding vows were exchanged, the group of 20 returned to Planet Hollywood for the official dinner at the Strip House. Executive chef John Schenk prepared a special menu of delights topped off with the largest version of his famed 24-layer chocolate cake he could make for them.
