Photo Gallery: The best of ‘Taste of the NFL’ with Miss America

Since 1992, top chefs from NFL cities have joined star players and volunteers to help in “Feeding America.” Until last year, the fundraiser was known as “America’s Second Harvest.” For 17 years, our contributing photographer Tom Donoghue has joined forces with “Taste of the NFL” founder and executive director Wayne Kostroski for the Super Bowl party with a purpose!

In between NFL duties and this weekend’s NBA mid-season celebrations in Phoenix, Tom compiled his favorite photos from this year’s “Taste of the NFL.” Newly crowned Miss America Katie Stam kicked off her yearlong travels hosting the party. Katie met up with Top Chef’s Tom Colicchio of MGM Grand’s Craftsteak, E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg, Today and Dateline anchor Ann Curry and Who Wants to Be A Millionaire’s Meredith Vieira.

“Of all the photo shoots I do during the year, this one’s the most rewarding. It’s incredible to see all the smiles at this wonderful event,” Tom said. “Katie’s presence this year was so successful that the Miss America Organization and the ‘Taste’ organizers are working to host a joint event at next January’s Miss America Pageant!”
