Multi-platinum pop princess Katy Perry was honored with a special case dedication displaying her outfit from the video of her hit single “Hot N Cold” before her Valentine’s Day concert at Carey Hart’s Wasted Space in the Hard Rock Hotel. Entertainment VP Paul Davis made the dedication presentation.

Katy told the crowd of fans watching the ceremony: “I’m overwhelmed by this tribute. This is awesome! When I was a young girl, I came to the Hard Rock to look and admire the Madonna case. I remember thinking how I would love to someday have the same honor, but it was a dream I never guessed would come true. Now look!”

She wore an orange and pink tutu for her special private performance inside Wasted Space. Katy proved the total entertainment package and danced all over the stage for her one-hour set. Right before singing her controversial song “Ur So Gay,” she revealed to the crowd that she had received an e-card for Valentine’s Day and added, “This song is for that special someone.”

The singer, 24, later met up with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, 29, Paris Hilton’s ex. Click HERE for our earlier story and photo yesterday of the couple at Lavo after her Hard Rock show.

My friend Mark Gray, who writes for People magazine, reported: “Earlier she described Valentine’s Day as a horror -- but then appears to have been struck by Cupid’s arrow. The two conspicuously cuddled throughout the night, and one observer sensed some chemistry there. Benji even danced for Katy during several songs at those rare times when their hands weren’t on each other’s legs.”
