Add a new baseball cap to Toby Keith’s incredible success as a singer, songwriter and record producer! Today, Toby sets a style of his own as a new fashion mogul with his very own clothing line. He will launch TK Steelman at his I Love This Bar & Grill in Harrah’s on the Strip.
In advance of my 6 p.m. video interview with him and the 8 p.m. unveiling of the line with a two-hour fashion show and concert, he told me the initial launch will appeal to men ages 25 to 54. TK Steelman will include long-sleeve shirts, T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, jeans, cowboy hats, baseball caps, bandanas, belts and leather wrist straps. Toby has approved each item, and his fashion debut coincides with the MAGIC Marketplace convention that commenced yesterday and ends tomorrow.
Toby Keith
Toby’s line features sleeveless shirts because he personally removes the sleeves from many of the shirts he owns. Toby says the TK Steelman look matches the influences of his own wardrobe: part rocker and part biker, with a country sexy aesthetic punctuated by oilfield imagery. Remember Toby worked in the oilfields by day and played music by night before he went full time with music and had his debut No. 1 smash “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” back in 1993. He’s gone on to sell more than 25 million albums this decade alone and last year was named Top Earning Male Musician by Forbes with $48 million.
He’s not stopping here with his ever-expanding business world. Toby plans to add a women’s line after this launch. Be sure to click back here tomorrow for our exclusive Vegas DeLuxe video report.
