Morning Call: A sneak peek at DWTS Season 8 rehearsals

Jackass prankster Steve-O is all cleaned up and ready for the new challenge of dance disciple to partner Lacey Schwimmer, and Vegas DeLuxe has the first rehearsal photos of the Season 8 Dancing With the Stars combatants!

Steve-O says he’s keeping his dance costumes on, but he does plan to add a few mild Jackass escapades to his dance movements! Lacey says Steve-O’s cleaned up his act after rehab and is drawing on his early days as a circus clown to add impact to their routines.

Also in rehearsals are former Las Vegas Academy student Derek Hough, who is partnered with rapper-actress Lil’ Kim, and Le Reve choreographer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who is teamed with actress and Vegas regular Denise Richards.

I’m told that our hometown favorite Julianne Hough is on the road for her rehearsals with country singer boyfriend Chuck Wicks, but they will be back in L.A. in front of ABC cameras this weekend. We’ll have their first official rehearsal photos next week.

Chuck and Julianne continue their rehearsals in Council Bluffs, Iowa, tomorrow; in Osceola, Iowa, on Friday; and in Chicago on Saturday. Chuck then stays put in L.A. with Julianne until his next gig March 19 in Claremont, N.H.
