2004 NASCAR champion Kurt Busch and other NASCAR superstars including Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Sam Hornish Jr., David Stremme, Kelly Bires and Justin Algaier competed side-by-side in a one-hour, team-endurance electric-kart race to benefit the Kurt Busch Foundation’s “Sprint for the Kids.”

The event, which started off with yours truly calling out the most famous four words in motor racing, “Gentlemen, start your engines!” raised more than $30,000.
