Morning Call Photo Gallery: Vegas DeLuxe welcomes 130,000 to Vegas for CES

Today is the official opening of the massive Consumer Electronics Show. That means some 130,000 people packing our hotels, restaurants and the Convention Center, where major congestion will tie up traffic through the weekend. It’s all good business for our city, so a warm welcome to all the delegates!

Last night, there were several pre-opening day activities, and our contributing photographers were out and about in the crowds. Denise Truscello was at the Dr. Dre listening party in the Paris Las Vegas, and Erik Kabik checked in on Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer, who gave the opening keynote address at The Venetian.
