Morning Call: Akon thrills crowd during late-night performance at Jet

It was 1:30 this morning when multi-talented Grammy-nominated singer Akon hit the stage at Jet in The Mirage. Despite the late hour -- or should I say early morning hour? -- he turned in a spectacular performance with no less than five of his smash hit songs.

Our contributing lens man Scott Harrison was front and center to capture these great up close and personal photos. Immediately after the early morning show, which was free for locals, Scott turned right round and raced to his studio to ensure that loyal Vegas DeLuxe readers got this immediate look at Akon in action!

Akon was in town last week for the annual Consumer Electronics Show.
