Much of the world will be following the presidential festivities in the nation’s capital over the next few days. President-elect Barack Obama will be sworn in Tuesday at high noon, but this is a weekend of parties and gala balls.
Tomorrow’s “Celebration of Change” has attracted three hometown entertainers: original Supremes singer Mary Wilson, Flamingo headliner comedian George Wallace and entertainer Clint Holmes.
It’s believed that George will be in best pal Jerry Seinfeld’s group of New York celebrities. Clint will perform his “Who Will Stand” tribute to American soldiers returning home from the battlefront. And Mary was previously at President Clinton’s White House party to celebrate the Millennium.
