The 52 Miss America contestants walked the runway at Fashion Show mall on the Strip during the day yesterday and afterwards signed autographs.

In the evening, Buca di Beppo in Planet Hollywood played host to the 2009 Miss America contestants. Planet Hollywood’s new CEO Tom McCartney and Bill Feather, president of Planet Hollywood Management, met up with Art McMaster, president and CEO of the Miss America Organization, and Sam Haskell III, chairman of the board of the Miss America Organization, at the restaurant.

Miss Texas ran into a girl’s soccer team playing in a tournament this week in Las Vegas. Miss Michigan, Miss Florida, Miss New Mexico and Miss Indiana got together and came up with a new sauce that they promptly named the “Miss America Sauce,” and Miss California and Miss Oklahoma were found checking out the deserts.
