Photo Gallery: Hard Rock Hotel toasts new president with drink specials on ‘White House Wednesday’

In honor of President Barack Obama’s first day on the job yesterday, his counterpart president of the Hard Rock Hotel decided to let guests and friends celebrate in style! He decreed a property-wide party to mark the 44th president’s “New Birth of Freedom” term. Dubbed “White House Wednesday,” hotel guests, tourists and locals were invited to toast the new administration, regardless of how they voted!

At the Hell’s Belles blackjack pit, guests found “Obama’s Mamas,” dealers and dancers dressed up in special red, white and blue outfits -- even the gin cocktails were red, white and blue! In Pink Taco, margaritas were renamed “Obamaritas,” and in Robert De Niro’s Ago, the cocktails were renamed “Obamatinis” and “Lame Duck Specials.”

Our contributing photographer Erik Kabik captured the fun and the festivities -- and even found international recording artist Miari getting caught up in the excitement! The singer is well known in Europe and Asia and is new to America. Miari asked everybody to also vote for her at www.miari.com!
