Cast your vote! Public may now select four Miss America Pageant state winners to move on to the final 15

The 15 finalists of TLC's Miss America: Countdown to the Crown. Viewers will choose which four ladies in this group make it to the overall Top 15.

Moments ago, 15 gold sash finalists were named as winners on the final episode of TLC’s four-part reality TV series Miss America: Countdown to the Crown.

Viewers across America can now start voting via the Internet at www.tlc.com/missamerica and text messaging, and the four beauty queens who garner the most votes will wind up in the final running for 2009 Miss America tomorrow night. It’s the first time ever viewers actually have an opportunity to choose the new Miss America.

The four winners will stand alongside the 11 other finalists selected by the judges, so shortly after host Mario Lopez opens the show tomorrow night, he will reveal America’s voting and the final 15 competing for the 2009 Miss America title.

The 15 gold sash finalists are Miss South Dakota Alexandra Hoffman, Miss Alabama Amanda Tapley, Miss Wisconsin Briana Lipor, Miss Georgia Chasity Hardman, Miss Idaho Elise Davis, Miss Kansas Emily Deaver, Miss Delaware Galen Giaccone, Miss California Jackie Geist, Miss Ohio Karissa Martin, Miss Indiana Katie Stam, Miss Hawaii Nicole Fox, Miss Iowa Olivia Myers, Miss Texas Rebecca Robinson, Miss U.S. Virgin Islands Shamika Thomas and Miss Florida Sierra Minot.

Vegas DeLuxe will be at Planet Hollywood’s Theatre for the Performing Arts tomorrow evening, and we’ll have the winner for you right here at 7 p.m. -- moments after 2008 Miss America Kirsten Haglund has crowned her with the new tiara. Then a little while later, we’ll have the first exclusive interview and photo report with the new Miss America.
