Make-A-Wish Foundation transforms teenager into a rock star for a day

Superstar singer Pink and her on-and-off-again ex-husband Carey Hart made a dream come true for a 15-year-old girl when the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted its 1,000th wish. Diana, who suffers from a heart condition that requires a pacemaker, always wanted to be a rock star for a day, and the good folks at the Hard Rock Hotel pulled out all the stops to make it a sensation.
We’ve withheld Diana’s last name for privacy purposes, but when she arrived at the Hard Rock with her pop star entourage, screaming fans and paparazzi dotted the red carpet. She was whisked off to Carey’s Wasted Space, and an audience of 200 friends and family chanted her name as she took to the stage. She belted out Pink’s hit “So What” in the very same spot where the star had sung it on New Year’s Eve!
Wasted Space owner Carey Hart presents 15-year-old Diana with an autographed guitar from singer Pink.
Diana rocked out on stage for 15 minutes, winning applause and cheers, and then Carey stepped on stage to present Diana with one of Pink’s guitars signed especially for her by the singer! In true pop-star style, Diana thanked everyone for coming and then joined them for photos and an autograph signing. Carey had to reassure Diana that Pink had signed the guitar and that it was hers to keep!
