Photo Gallery: Holly Madison’s unusual and surprise ‘wedding’

Stop the presses! Playboy beauty Holly Madison was “married” in a unique, unusual and surprise wedding yesterday, and lens lady supreme Denise Truscello captured the photos!
It’s enough to get the heart of a hardened journalist beating stronger early on a Monday morning because you know that with these first fast and furious photos, we’ve beaten the tabloids and the nightly TV shows to the punch.
When the new first broke, we immediately thought she’d landed one of her former boyfriends -- Criss Angel or Hugh Hefner! Or was there a secret mystery admirer we’d somehow missed on the Holly watch? Was it a handsome man she’d plucked from the audience at her Peepshow, which she performs nightly at Planet Hollywood?
Holly has made no secret of her one-day wish to marry and raise a family, but every time I’ve interviewed her since she moved to Las Vegas, she’s admitted that there’s been no new boyfriend and no new love match! So it just had to be somebody special, out of the ordinary -- and totally last minute and unexpected.
Was there even time for a dress -- and bridesmaids? Had the recent wedding of Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett sent Holly quickly into the arms of another?
Then slowly the details of the sudden and surprise nuptials came clearer, and Holly had wound up with the famous Travelocity gnome -- lucky guy! The gnome has been visiting Las Vegas the past few days posing for photos throughout town, from the Siegfried & Roy dolphin pool at The Mirage to the fountains of the Bellagio. We’ll have that full photo gallery tomorrow.
But nobody guessed the gnome would wind up in Holly’s arms for the ultimate trip capper -- marriage to Model 1. I’m told that Holly was ecstatic with the publicity stunt, but the gnome man was even happier! “The ultimate coup,” said his best man, the troll.
Holly Madison and, at her feet, Stoyan Metchkarov, in Peepshow at Planet Hollywood.
However, as in most showbiz marriages, there wasn’t even time for a honeymoon. He had to return to work gnome-ing the world looking for travel bargains, and Holly had to resume her scantily clad Peepshow.
Said Holly: “We could have danced all night, but when duty calls, life must continue on its merry way as before. It was a wild, momentary fling that proved a lot of fun -- and an experience I will never forget.”
Now I will remove my tongue from whence it was firmly planted in my cheek and wish you all a good Monday!
