Photo Gallery: Regeneration 2009 Tour makes a stop at The M Resort

Yesterday in our roundup of the weekend music concert scene, I felt we short-changed the bands who performed the first concert at The M Resort. The Regeneration 2009 Tour stop featured Missing Persons, Cutting Crew, Wang Chung and ABC.

Hotel owner Anthony Marnell III opened the Villagio del Sole Pool and Entertainment Piazza with the concert. Dale Bozio, the lead singer of Missing Persons, had the distinction of singing the first song at the Piazza.

Vocalist Nick Van Eede and guitarist Kevin Scott MacMichael got Cutting Crew going with their hit “I Just Died (In Your Arms). Jack Hues and Nick Feldman, aka Wang Chung, had guests dancing in the outdoor open area with “Everybody Have Fun Tonight,” and Martin Fry, ABC’s frontman, belted out “Poison Arrow,” “Look of Love” and “Be Near Me.”
