There’s never quite been a music week like this. In the past few days, it seems we’ve had more musicians visiting, playing, filming and performing than ever before.
Our team of prized photographers somehow managed to keep pace with the concerts, the tapings and the parties that go along with all the action.
LMFAO at Tao.
LMFAO at Tao
Electro-hop duo LMFAO filmed their new video “Shots” with rapper Lil’ Jon at Tao Beach. Red Foo and Sky Blu of LMFAO with DJ Eric D Lux performed at Tao in The Venetian, and Denise Truscello was there to capture all the action. Throughout the day, they filmed in the cabanas, at the bar and around the pool, even pulling in Tao Beach guests who were happy to play a part in the video.

The party continued with a dinner for 20 at Tao. Decked out in their signature Party Rock clothing and funky sunglasses, the entourage, including rap artist Shwayze, sat under the watchful eye of the famed Buddha. In keeping with the theme of the day, shots of Patron were brought to the table throughout the evening with the entire group breaking into their hit song whenever they downed the tequila. Eventually, they got the entire restaurant using chopsticks as instruments and hand clapping to play along to music from the DJ.

Upstairs in the nightclub, they hopped onstage for an impromptu performance of their songs “I’m in Las Vegas, Bitch,” “I Am Not a Whore” and of course their summer hit “Shots,” which they performed twice for the pumped-up crowd. Lil’ Jon joined them onstage, taking shots from his crystal encrusted Tao cup, and the crowd went wild. The night didn’t even end there, as LMFAO jumped into the DJ booth with DJ Five and entertained the crowd until 3 a.m.!
Adelitas Way at The Lounge
Las Vegas-based band Adelitas Way has signed with EMI and celebrated their first major label release. They performed a live set from the new release at The Lounge in the Palms and then stayed on to party with fans and pose for photos.
Their self-titled debut was released on Virgin/EMI Music, and the group played their lead single “Invincible” during the set, which was captured by Erik Kabik and Denise Truscello.

The shredding rock anthem “Invincible” was tapped by CBS for spots promoting the 2009 season finale of the hit series CSI: Miami. Currently available on iTunes, “Invincible” is being used as the theme for WWE Superstars, which airs Thursdays. The band also has been making appearances on the Monday night Raw shows for WWE. Produced by the Grammy-nominated Johnny K (Disturbed, Plain White T’s, 3 Doors Down), the band’s debut album is filled with hard, edgy, modern rock anthems.
Adelitas Way, whose name comes from an unplanned visit to a Tijuana brothel, is currently on tour with Saliva and will head out with Sick Puppies on Aug. 13.
The Fray performs live at The Pearl.

The Fray at The Pearl
Leading lens lady Denise Truscello was on front-line center-stage duty when The Fray performed at The Pearl in the Palms. The Denver-based band’s big hits include “How to Save a Life,” “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and the recent “You Found Me.”
Pepper at the Hard Rock Hotel
Pepper performed poolside at the Hard Rock Hotel, and Erik Kabik was there alongside the group. The rock band, some of them appropriately shirtless and in board shorts, formed in 1996 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, with a mix of reggae, dub and rock and consists of singer/guitarist Kaleo Wassman, bassist/singer Bret Bollinger and drummer Yesod Williams.

With four albums to its credit, Pepper went out on the 2007 Warped Tour and released a new album last July, Pink Crustaceans and Good Vibrations on its own label Law Records. This summer, Pepper leads the line-up of the Jagermeister Music Tour with Pennywise.
Jet at Wasted Space
The Australian rock band Jet, made up of Cameron Muncey, Mark Wilson and brothers Nic and Chris Cester, has sold 4 million records worldwide since their debut album Get Born. Jet played Carey Hart’s Wasted Space at the Hard Rock Hotel, and contributing photographer Erik Kabik was up close and personal for the set by the “Are You Gonna Be My Girl?” hit-makers.

Ron Browz at Jet
Hip-hop producer and rapper Ron Browz gave a sizzling performance that kicked off with his hit “Pop Champagne” at Jet in The Mirage, wowing thousands of partygoers that included NFL hall of famer Warren Moon dancing along to the music.
