Beyonce’s four-day concert run sparks series of parties at the Wynn

When superstar singer Beyonce hits the stage at the Encore Theater in the Wynn at the end of the month for four shows, it will cap a resort-wide series of events. We’ve got the full rundown that actually starts a week ahead of her arrival for the I Am … World Tour engagement.

The festivities kick off with a “Single Ladies” dance contest qualifying round this Saturday at Tryst, with the finale set for July 30. Three winners will receive front-row tickets to the concert. On July 31, the first Beyonce after-show party will be held at Blush.

The Encore Esplanade will host a Fierce Fashion Affair on Aug. 1 with a special appearance by Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, the award-winning designer and creative director of House of Dereon. Collections from the House of Dereon will be modeled on The Esplanade with free champagne. The official Beyonce North American Tour Wrap Party will make a splash at XS -- the only nighttime pool party in town -- but don’t expect Beyonce or Jay-Z to jump in the water!
