The rockers rule this weekend in Las Vegas.

Punk rockers Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge of Blink-182 kicked off their reunion tour -- the first in five years -- at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel last night. Originally, they were planning to only perform the starting tour date tonight, but fans snapped up tickets so fast that they added last night’s show.

Our contributing photographer Erik Kabik was on duty front and center for this fabulous photo gallery of the funny, foul-mouthed rockers. Click HERE for our Editor Don Chareunsy’s review of the concert. (Incidentally, Don shares a March 15 birthday with Mark, but Don is younger!)

Steven Tyler loves Love

Tomorrow night, Aerosmith led by Steven Tyler rock the MGM Grand Garden Arena, but last night, Steven, accompanied by an oh-so-sexy date, his daughter Chelsea Tyler, and famed record producer and songwriter Mark Hudson showed up to watch The Beatles Love by Cirque du Soleil at The Mirage. It’s the second time Steven has seen the production. Incidentally, Mark has worked with Ringo Starr in addition to Aerosmith and Ozzy Osborne. After the show, Steven took his group backstage to meet the cast.

Mel Gibson’s need for speed

Mel Gibson continued enjoying his mini-Las Vegas vacation yesterday. The superstar actor and director visited the Bodies exhibition at the Luxor. He was accompanied by his son Tommy and two friends and spent more than 90 minutes on a private tour from one of the exhibition’s experts.

An inquisitive Mel asked several questions and also quizzed his son during the tour. It wasn’t all serious, though, for the group because Mel had them all laughing with several jokes along the way. He even got into a batter’s stance using a tibia as a bat from the touch booth area where visitors can handle body parts.

Earlier, Mel treated his family and friends to a race day at Pole Position Raceway. They raced the mini-electric racecars, which hit speeds in excess of 35 mph, at the snaking mile-long track opposite the Palms.
