Heavyweight comedian Gabriel Iglesias doesn’t shy away from his extra pounds in his shows. He actually turns fat into funny and describes the five stages of being overweight in a hysterical routine: chubby, chunky, fat, huge and morbidly obese. He saves “fluffy” to describe himself at the fourth level, but while here at the Palms added a sixth level: “Oh, hell no!”

Leading lens lady Denise Truscello was at The Pearl in the Palms for Gabriel’s stellar performance in 2 Hot 2 Fluffy with host Martin Moreno and opening acts Alfred Robles, Edwin San Juan and Noe Gonzalez. Each comic had the sold-out crowd rolling in the aisles with their unique styles of observational humor.
