Photo Gallery: Sasha Grey aims for adult and mainstream film success

XXX-rated actress Sasha Grey made it perfectly clear when she celebrated the premiere of The Girlfriend Experience that she isn’t turning her back on her adult film career. The 21-year-old erotic beauty, who stars in the film by Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh (Traffic), was at Lavo in the Palazzo for the celebration.

Members of two adult-industry organizations in 2008 named Sasha the Female Performer of the Year. The Girlfriend Experience, in which Sasha plays a call girl, is her first Hollywood film. She also has two others coming out this summer: Quit and Smash Cut.

Sasha told our showbiz reporter colleague Melissa Arseniuk, who writes for the Las Vegas Sun and Las Vegas Weekly, that she hopes to become the first actress to simultaneously appear in adult and mainstream movies. “There’s never been anybody, any woman, in the adult business to really hold both at the same time.”

Sasha owns her own film production company and films her next XXX flick in August.
