Ghost adventurer Zak Bagans says he was ‘partially possessed’ at cemetery

By Robin Leach

Zak Bagans (center) is one of the filmmakers behind the paranormal documentary Ghost Adventures. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it.

The new Season 2 of Ghost Adventures premieres Friday on The Travel Channel, and once again Las Vegas producer Zak Bagans hosts and is lead investigator of the paranormal.

Zak and I ran into each other at the Little Buddha Bar in the Palms, and he told me that Entertainment Weekly had just given the debut episode a grade of “A.” Zak also said that it was the first time he’d become partially possessed during his ghost-chasing exploits!

Zak filmed this week’s premiere episode at Preston Castle in Ione, Calif., the one-time site of a reformatory for teen delinquents who were so badly punished that 17 of them died as a result of the guards’ brutality. The bodies are buried there in the castle cemetery, and Zak filmed the ghostly experiences of slamming doors and other paranormal happenings.

You can check out details of the new season, learn more about Zak and meet Zak’s brave filmmakers on The Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures Web site HERE.
