When the stars of the new comedy The Hangover walked the red carpet for the world premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, they saw some familiar and friendly Las Vegas faces. Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner flew in for the premiere with Public Relations VP Debbie Munch and some of his executives who had looked after the moviemakers during their three-month location shoot.

The film’s stars, ShoWest 2009 winner Bradley Cooper, Heather Graham, Ed Helms and Justin Bartha, and director Todd Phillips gave them a warm welcome to the screening and to the poolside after-party at the nearby Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Among other Hollywood celebrities attending the festivities were Jim Carrey and ladylove Jenny McCarthy, Kristen Bell, Kendra Wilkinson, Kate Walsh and HBO stars Jamie-Lynn Sigler (The Sopranos), Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Jerry Ferrara (Entourage). Incidentally, ShoWest 2009 winner Zac Efron, who also attended the premiere, is rumored to be guest starring on Entourage this next season.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who were in Las Vegas last weekend for a birthday party, sat behind our Caesars Palace head honcho, and comedy star Bradley gave a hug and a kiss to Harrah’s VP Lynda Thipavong.

The Hangover, tipped as a sleeper hit of the summer, tells the next-day hi-jinx of a wild bachelor party night in Las Vegas. It opens across the country today.
