It’s twick or tweet for Mr. Vegas DeLuxe Robin Leach on Twitter

Here’s what you missed last night if you aren’t following me on Twitter yet: Holly Madison fetches $5,000; a new Hard Rock complex on the Strip; Trader Vic’s status; and the continuing feud between a hotel owner and a nightclub king.

A few of my tweet highlights yesterday:

*Tonight, I’ll be at the 30 chefs gathering for the Share Our Strength charity at the Hard Rock Hotel. Holly Madison acting as auctioneer. Let’s guess how much she will raise? $5,000? $10,000? More? Holly will auction herself off to the highest bidder for a private dinner date after watching her in her new role co-starring in Peepshow. Holly Madison added herself to an auction package of a mixologist to throw your house party, and she closed the bid out at $5,000.

*Three-story Hard Rock Cafe entertainment complex to open beside MGM on Sept. 5. It’s owned by the Seminole Indians, who own Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Fla., where my pal Chief Joe Osceola is a real Motley Crue fan.

*Contrary to reports published elsewhere, Trader Vic’s is not closing within 24 hours. However, it will undergo major changes soon and reopen with a new, exciting concept. Meantime, the Polynesian-themed eatery and drinkery chain still has the doors open. It’s a Hugh Hefner fave and part of Hollywood history at the Beverly Hills Hilton, playing host to stars over many years.

*Escalating tension and tempers flaring for second time between major hotel owner and his nightclub operators over security lapses due to crowds. Great problem to have in this troubled economy, but allegedly the crowds are just too big and unexpected to control at weekends. Extra security will be on duty this weekend.
