More than 30 NFL players from more than a dozen top teams brought along wives and girlfriends for a weekend of entertainment and dining at the Palazzo, plus a shopping spree through the Shoppes of the Palazzo. They all wound up partying at Lavo over the weekend after the sponsor presentations at dinner in the Palazzo.
The players included Miles Austin, Michael Hamlin, Flozell Adams and Stephen Bowen of the Dallas Cowboys; Charles Bennett, Jason Jones, Jason Murphy, Stephen Tulloch, Fernando Velasco and Kevin Vickerson of the Tennessee Titans; Ahmad Carroll, James Ihedigbo, Chansi Stuckey and Leon Washington of the New York Jets; and players from the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
They hit Canali, Piaget, Tory Burch, Montblanc, Cole Haan and Charioll, all of whom created unique offers for the star players, during the Palazzo shopping spree.

Wicked whispers & racy rumors
Magician Steve Wyrick was upset that his mother’s birthday party at his Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile theater became the subject of a dispute with Elvis Presley impersonator Trent Carlini. Trent allegedly complained that he couldn’t squeeze his show down because the party ran over by 30 minutes, so he had all the audience tickets refunded. Then he ankled the theater and now after several dark nights has asked to take back his berth. … Some shocking and unexpected shake-ups coming any moment now on the entertainment scene, with favorites splitting for the summer and newcomers arriving from as far afield as Europe.
Nove Italiano executive sous chef Tony Schutz, Flavor Flav and Nove Italiano manager Carmine DePascuale.
Star surveillance
Checking out the competition? Casino mogul Steve Wynn was spotted at Tao Beach in the rival Venetian. He toured the pool scene before settling into a VIP cabana. … Rapper and reality TV star Flavor Flav and his lady friend enjoyed an outdoor terrace romantic dinner at Nove Italiano atop the Palms Fantasy Tower. Flav ordered Perrier Jouet champagne as they shared family-style appetizers. He posed for photos with guests and staff. … Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony and fiancee MTV VJ LaLa Vazquez enjoyed salmon flat bread and eggs Benedict for two consecutive breakfasts at the Society Cafe in the Encore. … His Boston Celtics pal Ray Allen was spotted enjoying VIP service at Blush in the adjoining Wynn. … DJ Jazzy Jeff threw a tropical Hawaiian luau at the Palms Pool & Bungalows that included a limbo contest and hula dancers with attendees receiving a lei upon arrival. English soccer stars Danny Simpson and Wes Brown from Manchester United, Jermaine Pennant from Liverpool, Jonathan Fortune from Charlton, Graham Stack from Plymouth and Adam Lallana from Southampton were among the guests from the other side of the pond. Wes and Danny were seen later dressed in the red and white colors of the team at Lavo for a private dining room party before heading up to the nightclub. A large British flag was hung above their VIP table, and their cocktail server was decked out in British attire for the night!
