Strip Scribbles: Audrina Patridge continues brother’s birthday celebration

The Hills star Audrina Patridge continued the celebration for her brother Mark’s birthday into a third night. After returning to Tao Beach at The Venetian during the day to hear DJ Steve Aoki spin, the group of 12 dined Italian family style on the Lavo terrace at the Palazzo overlooking the Strip and then headed upstairs to a dance floor table in the club.

For the second consecutive night, Audrina surprised her brother with a birthday cake, and they enjoyed Grey Goose cocktails. Our spywitness reported: “The reality star stayed close to BMX star Corey Bohan, and the two shared a few kisses … this on-again/off-again relationship is once again on. The cute couple even went into the DJ booth to dance and make music requests to DJ Vice.” Click HERE for our previous coverage.

Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Justin Bartha in The Hangover.

*After final box office figures were released yesterday, our Las Vegas-filmed comedy The Hangover, starring Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha, Heather Graham and Caesars Palace, overtook Up as the weekend’s top film, raking in $45 million. Up slipped one notch with $44.1 million.

*Congratulations to Mike Tyson, who makes a guest appearance in The Hangover, on his surprise wedding at the Las Vegas Hilton over the weekend. The news comes shortly after the tragic death of his 4-year-old daughter in Phoenix.

Evan Seinfeld, Tera Patrick and lingerie ladies at Tao.

*Adult film star Tera Patrick hosted her Lingeriegasm party at Tao and gave away $1,000 to the sexiest lingerie lady! Two girls tied, so Shannon Kelly and the petite Lupe Fuentes split the prize. Comedian Eddie Griffin and British footballer Wes Brown were among the crowd rooting for the ladies. Tera’s rocker husband Evan Seinfeld happily threw himself into the mix!

Manchester United football star Wes Brown.

*We tipped you with anonymous items here in Strip Scribbles more than two weeks ago about changes taking place at Treasure Island under the new ownership of Kansas billionaire Phil Ruffin. Now our Las Vegas Weekly colleague Steve Friess has confirmed them with reports about the $15 million Gilley’s bar and restaurant with a bucking bull. It’s no secret that Phil has major changes in store for Sirens, which he’s keeping but changing the layout so more people can watch in comfort or sit down at an enlarged outdoor cafe. Steve confirms our story from months ago that Phil has renewed Mystere through 2016, and reports that Phil has his sights on acquiring another large Las Vegas casino resort.

*We often laugh when we use the expression “the hardest working man in show business.” But it applies to Defending the Caveman star Kevin Burke! Not only is Kevin this week celebrating the third birthday of Caveman at the Excalibur, but also beginning Friday through June 22, the show will be at 4 and 7 p.m., taking over the 7 time slot while Louis Anderson is on hiatus. Kevin also performs his stand-up act Fitz of Laughter at the Fitzgerald at 9:13 p.m. for 30 shows in 10 days. He is one performing machine!

Host Mario Lopez and 2009 Miss America Katie Stam of Indiana.

*Look who’s on today’s The Price Is Right! None other than Katie Stam, who was crowned Miss America 2009 at Planet Hollywood in January. Katie did such a phenomenal job presenting prizes and announcing the showdowns, she’s set for a TV career when her reign comes to an end next January at Planet Hollywood.

*Growing up in England, one of our favorite sports -- a national craze -- was table tennis. It was known as ping-pong until the Chinese players showed us their miracle moves! Now the world’s fastest, most exciting sport (sorry, NASCAR fans) is headed here for the Hardbat Classic from June 26-28. Sponsored by Bud Light, the classic at The Venetian will be televised by ESPN. First place is $100,000. I’m told that everybody from professionals to Hollywood celebrities and everyday enthusiasts will get the chance to compete! I may even see if I have any skills left after nearly 50 years of not playing. One of my cousins, Johnny Leach, was a British champion and won the world championships in 1949 and 1951, but I was nowhere good enough to follow in his paddles!
