The Girls Next Door and Playboy beauty Holly Madison has purchased a Pekinese puppy and named him Napoleon. “He is so cute! I just fell in love with him immediately. But he’s got a powerful little attitude about him, so that’s why I gave him the name,” she laughed as she told me at last night’s CineVegas Film Festival opening at Planet Hollywood. “I’m lobbying to have him in the video we have to shoot next week for the opening sequence of Peepshow.”

Holly takes over from General Hospital and fellow Dancing With the Stars alumnus Kelly Monaco on June 22. Holly says rehearsals are going well and are four to five hours a day. She says she’s reached the halfway mark in the show rundown and is looking forward to rehearsing the closing number’s erotic bathtub scene!

Last night, Holly also went to see Jubilee!, and today she shoots the cover of our sister publication Las Vegas Weekly. Our roving editor Johnny Kats has been trailing her for a week for the in-depth story.

Holly told us at the premiere of Saint John of Las Vegas that her favorite all-time movie is Moulin Rouge, and although she hopes one day to land a movie role, her first priorities are Peepshow and her upcoming reality TV series to be filmed here in Las Vegas.

“I’ve moved into the penthouse here at Planet Hollywood and am bringing my stuff in suitcases from Los Angeles. Once it’s all here and Peepshow is moving along, I’m going to look for a proper home here, but it’s got to be Barbie pink!”

*Six-time world champion boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. will celebrate his patriotism this afternoon by wrapping his boxing gym in the American flag and also to honor Flag Day taking place this Sunday. Floyd says the 16'2" x 8'2’’ flag also will be an inspiration as prepares for his July 18 welterweight showdown against Juan Manuel Marquez.

Floyd says it will be kept up through the night of the fight dubbed Mayweather vs. Marquez: Number One/Numero Uno. The 12-round welterweight bout will take place at MGM Grand and be broadcast live on pay-per-view. Our contributing photographer Erik Kabik will be at Floyd’s gym today, so check back here at Vegas DeLuxe for those photos.
