The third day of 2009 CineVegas marked the debut of three Jackpot Premieres: Kyle Patrick Alvarez’s Easier With Practice, Talmage Cooley’s Patriotville and Jeff Mizushima’s Etienne!. Also premiering was Sea of Darkness, a surfing documentary by Michael Oblowitz.

The rebel spirit was kept alive in CineVegas Headquarters during Happy Hour with an energy-filled performance by Billy Idol impersonator Walt Turner. Not only is he featured in Legends in Concert at Harrah’s, but he also stars in Vegas: Based on a True Story, which is featured at CineVegas.

2009 CineVegas: Day 3

Last night, guests gathered at the Palms Pool for the launch party of our affiliated 702.tv and a special set by the band Happy Hollows, who are featured on the Etienne!soundtrack. Capping off the day was a time-honored CineVegas tradition, filmmaker bowling at the Gold Coast.

Today, CineVegas presents the world premieres of Asylum Seekers, Godspeed, Mercy and Modus Operandi, as well as the dive-in screening of The Beatles’ animated masterpiece Yellow Submarine at Mandalay Bay Beach.
