Cristiano Ronaldo gives Las Vegas (and $134 million contract) a thumbs up

It’s the first photo in Las Vegas of mega-millionaire soccer star and heartthrob Cristiano Ronaldo. He’s wanted by the world’s paparazzi because of his alleged fling with Paris Hilton that apparently caused her bust-up with baseball player and The Hills star boyfriend Doug Reinhardt.

After signing the $134 million contract to move from Britain’s Manchester United to Spain’s Real Madrid, Cristiano and five pals hit Los Angeles, where he was spotted for two consecutive nights with the socialite and reality TV star. They were linked about a year ago by gossip tabloids when they first met.

Paris and Cristiano were seen at the nightspot My House one night and again the next evening when she hosted a private dinner party for him at her Beverly Hills home. They were caught the next morning at 5 a.m. leaving her sister Nicky Hilton’s home! It set off a firestorm of frenzy with tabloid reporters and paparazzi from both sides of the Atlantic, and Cristiano fled for Las Vegas while Paris said she had to leave for a personal appearance on the East Coast.

Last night on his second day of partying here, Cristiano and his friends were at the rooftop Playboy Club in George Maloof's Palms, then they went one floor below to Nove Italiano, where executive chef Geno Bernardo prepared a feast.

Cristiano has been dodging photogs since arriving and has turned down many requests for photos. But for our ever-charming contributing lens lady Denise Truscello, Cristiano agreed to pose for just one shot. If you can ever sum up a party weekend in Las Vegas at the same time as winning a $134 million payday, how better than with a thumbs up!

After dinner at Nove, Cristiano went off to Steve Wynn’s Encore to check out Victor Drai’s lavish XS, and early this morning, he agreed to these additional photos.
