Roving editor Johnny Kats spent an unprecedented two weeks nearly 24/7 in the life of soon-to-be Planet Hollywood Peepshow star Holly Madison for tomorrow’s cover story in our sister publication Las Vegas Weekly. I received a sneak peek at his story and can tip you that, for the first time, Holly opens up about the romance with Mindfreak magician Criss Angel.

Holly denies that it was a staged romance and says they first met while both appeared on Phenomenon. But after she and her The Girls Next Door co-stars filmed a Mindfreak episode here in Las Vegas, Criss and Holly began texting each other. Holly tells Kats candidly how the real romance developed and how they spent every day together for four consecutive months.

It’s a revealing interview, and it answers all the questions everybody has ever wondered about them. The actress-dancer who premieres in Peepshow next Monday says she’s the one who was dumped and wishes she could have made the relationship work.

Kats also went house hunting with Holly as she looked for a Barbie doll mansion now that she’s moved here full time, and their ride-around Las Vegas adventures make for a funny series of incidents. Look for Las Vegas Weekly throughout the city and online tomorrow for a great read as Holly counts down the final hours to curtain up on her showgirl debut on the Strip.
