One of the most popular and enduring alternative rock bands of the past 20 years, Live was live onstage at Azure pool in the Palazzo. During the 90-minute set, Live performed hits including “Lighting Crashes” and “I Alone.” After the show, band members relaxed in a cabana at the after-party at Azure. They greeted guests, posed for photos -- and even invited some to join them for even later drinks at Lavo! Live has recorded seven full-length albums with sales of more than 20 million.
Actress Amanda Righetti felt right at home when she hosted a party at Tabu Ultra Lounge in MGM to celebrate the DVD release of her latest movie Friday the 13th. That’s because we claim the beauty as our own hometown girl. Amanda wore a tuxedo-type dress for her party and hung out right below DJ Jose 2 Hype’s booth, and she managed to get onto the platform table for her own seductive dance moves and shout-outs to her breakdancing friends. Amanda played the lead role in the 2009 horror remake and has racked up an impressive list of TV appearances, including Entourage, CSI, The O.C. and The Mentalist.
Legendary heavy metal band Testament performed at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay, and our music-minded contributing photographer Scott Harrison was front and center for his photo coverage. He captured singer Chuck Billy and guitarist Alex Skolnick in full throttle!
