When Vegas DeLuxe first broke the exclusive that Zowie Bowie was moving from the Palms and onto the Strip with their Big Band Show, I hinted that the Pussycat Dolls had enlisted a top European singer to fill the space.
I was right! He’s London-based international singing sensation Matt Goss, known as “The Voice,” and Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin will present his Palms show starting Sept. 4. Robin’s already begun a casting search and planning the choreography for the sexy female dancers and a seven-piece band that will be in the limited-run resident show in the Palms Lounge.

We’ll get an opportunity to chat with PCD and Robin, and there might even be a surprise appearance by Matt, when they play The Pearl on June 27. That sizzling show is linked to the notorious annual pajama party hosted by Jimmy Tipton to all his high rollers. Who better than the sexy PCD to kick that off?!
Palms Vice President of Entertainment Michael Greco promised: “It will be a totally new experience for our guests, a cool vibe and unique lounge show that truly reflects Matt’s popular music and hipster lifestyle.” Palms owner George Maloof added: “Coupled with Robin’s immense creativity, this show promises to be nothing short of spectacular.”

Matt, who was the lead singer of 1980s pop group Bros, sold more than 17 million records during their 10-year run. Matt turned songwriter and penned the main song for Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance and the hit song “Change Me” for Keri Hilson and Akon on her current album In a Perfect World. Matt is currently in L.A. recording his new album.
