Tonight, Playboy beauty and The Girls Next Door starlet Holly Madison makes her topless Las Vegas showgirl debut in the adult cabaret revue Peepshow at Planet Hollywood.
“I’m ready for it,” Holly told me. “I’m excited about it. I’m joining the best cast of people in the world. I love the show. I love what I’m going to do. It will be great fun for everybody.” Holly takes over from General Hospital actress and fellow Dancing With the Stars alumnus Kelly Monaco.
In honor of Holly’s first performance -- and again on Thursday for the media night premiere and party -- Planet Hollywood head honcho Robert Earl has ordered the last four letters of the rooftop sign blacked out to welcome the blonde beauty to her own new world of Planet Holly!

It’s been a weekend whirlwind for Holly: On Friday and Saturday, she rehearsed her final moves and did an onstage interview for ABC’s Nightline (click HERE for my twitpic). Because of the rehearsal schedule, Holly missed the shower and bachelor party organized by Bridget Marquardt at Guy’s in Hollywood for their Girls Next Door co-star Kendra Wilkinson, who is marrying Philadelphia Eagles star Hank Baskett at The Playboy Mansion next Saturday. Kendra is pregnant with their first child, and the wedding will be filmed for their new E! Entertainment reality show, which scored the second-highest ratings of a debut show for the network with 2.6 million viewers.
Saturday night, Palms President George Maloof and his Playboy girlfriend Kelly Carrington invited Holly and her gorgeous gal pal Laura Croft to watch Spike TV’s The Ultimate Fighter finale at The Pearl. Then in a skintight black dress, Holly and the group had dinner under the watchful eye of the giant Buddha at Tao in The Venetian. Holly will host a Tao Beach party July 5. Yesterday morning, she went to church with gal pal Angel Jones.

Holly’s debut week in Peepshow is also jam-packed. She’ll commute back and forth to L.A. to attend Kendra and Hank’s wedding next Saturday, and there will be no performances. To make up for it, there will be a run-through Wednesday when the show is normally dark and two performances next Sunday.

Meantime, Holly’s new co-star who is taking over from Mel B is Broadway actress, singer and dancer Shoshana Bean (click HERE for Mel B’s birthday bash and farewell party that we posted Saturday and yesterday). Shoshana completed her blocking, script readings and five rehearsals over the weekend and flew back to New York. She’ll miss Holly’s first night tomorrow because of a prior Manhattan engagement -- her understudy will fill in -- but will fly here tomorrow with packed suitcases and move into her new Las Vegas home. Then Holly and Shoshana become the new darling divas of the Strip as of tomorrow and get ready for their official unveiling Thursday.
Holly summed up: “I can’t wait for the curtain to go up and tumble out of the ceiling for the opening surprise. My dream to be a Las Vegas showgirl finally comes true. The show is hot and fun. I think the only time I’ll be nervous is when my parents come to see me, and I’ll be topless! Otherwise, having been on Dancing With the Stars and knowing 20 million people were watching, I won’t be nervous for this.”

We’ll have an exclusive interview with Holly from Planet Hollywood shortly after her debut tonight, so click back here tomorrow for the first night report.
