Our favorite Las Vegas dancer Julianne Hough has been offered the lead female role opposite America’s hottest bachelor Chace Crawford in the upcoming remake of Footloose. Gossip Girl heartthrob Chace replaced Zac Efron after he dropped out of the Paramount project. Julianne is now trying desperately to change all of her country singing engagements so that she can be in the Hollywood film as her first major lead role.
Footloose, released in 1984, starred Kevin Bacon, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lori Singer and John Lithgow and spawned a megahit soundtrack, with 1980s classics including “Footloose” and “Let’s Hear It For the Boy.” The 2010 version is set to be directed by High School Musical’s Kenny Ortega, who is involved with the Michael Jackson concerts starting in London next month.
Here’s a YouTube clip of “Footloose” by movie soundtrack king Kenny Loggins:

People magazine just named 24-year-old Chace Summer’s Hottest Bachelor, and the handsome actor has been partying here with his family, including sister Candice, and friends. Candice was Miss Missouri USA 2008. There isn’t a hotspot they haven’t hit on their vacation, and even though he disguised himself in a green Army hat, adoring fans recognized him everywhere he went.
Chace’s week began with dinner at Dos Caminos in the Palazzo, followed by late-night cocktails at nearby Lavo. He returned to Lavo the next night for a dinner feast of Kobe meatballs before hitting the upstairs boutique nightclub. He sat alongside chart topper Asher Roth. Later, he spent a day in the sun at Tao Beach in The Venetian and afterward went to Tao for dinner and then to Tao nightclub for a performance by Wale, which also was watched by a group of NHL stars.
The following night, torn between both hotspots, Chace simply commuted between the two on the Tao/Lavo Escalade stretched luxury golf cart. Over the weekend, he took over the owner’s banquette dance floor table at Tao, staying until 4 a.m.! He even hopped into the booth with DJ Vice to give several shout-outs to his sister to the delight of fans snapping every possible cell phone photo.

Chace kept his promise and returned to the new First Food & Bar in the Palazzo for the second time on his Las Vegas trip. After hanging at the Palazzo pool, he snacked on egg rolls, the signature lollipop wings, mini burgers and the truffle mac and cheese. Candice and he also posed for photos in the First photo booth.
