A picture is worth a thousand words; thus, several photos can beat anything I could write. Spike TV’s The Ultimate Fighter 9 finale between Team USA and Team U.K. was a bloody affair at The Pearl in the Palms on Saturday night.

Diego Sanchez may have won the main event Saturday night, but it was the nearly 2,000 fans who were the real winners witnessing several fight-of-the-night contenders and one bloody main event that somehow went the distance. Team U.K. was 2 for 2 in the finals, while the U.S. lost its only finals appearance.
