Do you want to meet pop prince Justin Timberlake when he comes to town Oct. 12 for his weeklong charity golf tournament to benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children? The event ends Oct. 18 at TPC in Summerlin. Volunteers ages 18 and older are needed to assist with caddy and transportation services, greeting visitors and ensuring that the admission process runs smoothly.
As a volunteer, you’ll work without pay, but you will have to pay a $40 fee, which helps the charity. In turn, you will be given a tournament jacket, a golf shirt and a hat, a weeklong badge, a ticket to the volunteer party and meals during the volunteer shift. To register, visit the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open volunteer Web site HERE or contact Donna Millwood at (702) 589-4945.
Well-known golfers and celebrities will participate in the competition to help support the Shriners Hospitals’ international health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to providing pediatric specialty care, research and teaching programs, plus acute and rehabilitative care for burn injuries, rehabilitative care for children with spinal cord injuries, and the expanding cleft lip and palate program.
Justin has told me previously that he’ll be calling on his celebrity pals to join him for an all-star concert at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood that’s part of the charity week. Vegas DeLuxe will post details as they’re released.
