Michael Jackson reveals sparkling wardrobe for London concerts

As King of Pop Michael Jackson nears his July 13 premiere of the This Is It concerts in London, he has confirmed that his comeback costumes will be embossed with more than 300,000 Swarovski crystals. That’s more glittering glitz than Liberace ever wore, and Michael’s jackets will be covered with them. Even the glove gets an upgraded extra sparkle and shine!

Inside sources in London say Michael’s stage outfits will feature crystallized decorations in more than 53 shapes, 40 sizes and 27 colors. Director Kenny Ortega says the partnership between Michael and Swarovski has taken onstage fashion and scenic elements to a new state of the art.

One fashion insider commented: “When the lights hit what he wears, Michael will dazzle. It will be a blinding experience of sparkling lights that have never been seen before, and that’s even before he starts dancing!”
