Photo Gallery: It’s seven hours of blasts from the past at June Fest

One of the best music festivals of the year had the arena rocking out at the South Point, and our contributing photographer Tom Donoghue was on duty for the festive June Fest event. The blasts from the past thrilled fans who packed the arena presentation by KKLZ-FM.

Among the acts were Rick Derringer with “Hang on Sloopy, Styx with Dennis DeYoung performing “Sailing Away” and “Too Much Time,” Grand Funk Railroad with Mark Farmer on “Some Kind of Wonderful,” Al Stewart with “Year of the Car” and Starship with Mickey Thomas on “We Built This City.”
