Photo Gallery: It’s three months before MGM’s CityCenter opens

An amazing new series of photographs shows the incredible progress of the self-contained city at the center of the Las Vegas Strip. Known as MGM’s CityCenter, it comes complete with its own ZIP code and fire station!

Figures have put CityCenter’s luxurious four-hotel complex and Crystals shopping center at more than $10 billion. It’s now just three months until the first of two phases is opened this fall.

Then before New Year’s, the busiest visitor weekend of the year, Crystals, with new celebrity chef restaurants and luxurious stores, will open along with one of the world’s most lavish health spas. The new Cirque du Soleil theatrical production based on Elvis Presley’s life also is set for a New Year’s Eve opening.
