It was the first-ever visit to Las Vegas for Sex and the City actress Kristin Davis, and with an unidentified boyfriend at her side throughout, Kristin packed as much in as she could. The beau managed to dodge the photographers who tried to keep up with Kristin.

She checked out The Beatles Cirque du Soleil show Love at The Mirage, where the happy couple snacked on popcorn during the show. They went backstage afterward to meet the cast and crew. They also went backstage at Siegfried & Roy’s special farewell reunion performance at the Keep Memory Alive gala at the Bellagio, where they crossed paths with Muhammad Ali. Then it was back to The Mirage to enjoy dinner at Fix.

*Congratulations to Carrot Top, who celebrated his 44th birthday with a 48-hour nonstop party. First Luxor President Felix Rappaport presented the zany comedian with a special cake backstage, and then it was off to Stoney’s Dance Hall for line-dancing with comedian Ron Lucas, magician Amazing Johnathan and late-night talk show host Craig Ferguson. But the highlight was when Carrot Top got to ride laps in the pace car in advance of the NASCAR race!
Luxor President Felix Rappaport presented Carrot Top with this birthday cake.
*Congratulations to the cast of Menopause: The Musical at the Hilton, which celebrated its 1,500th, show last night. Queen Emily, an America’s Got Talent finalist, just joined the show with Paige O’Hara, the voice of Belle in Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Cheryl Spencer and Laura Lee O’Connell. The show started at the Hilton in February 2006, but originally began in New York in 2001 and has since played to 11 million people throughout the world.
Natalie Gublis and Gray Maynard at Blush.
*Congratulations to hometown pro golfer Natalie Gulbis, who turned up among the 15 contestants on Donald Trump’s new Celebrity Apprentice last night. Natalie is working with former Tiger Woods coach Butch Harmon to fulfill her dream of winning her first major tournament.
Penn & Teller.
*It’ll be the world’s largest image ever put on a building featuring two miracle magic men celebrating 35 years of working together as a team. At 5 p.m. today, a 27,000-square-foot and 26-story tall image of Penn & Teller performing a death-defying illusion will be unveiled at The Rio. This month marks their 35th anniversary of making magic together. They moved to Vegas in 1993 and have spent the past eight years at The Rio, seven of those in their own headliner theater. Penn & Teller launch the seventh season of Bullsh*t, which is Showtime’s longest-running series and has received 11 Emmy nominations. Vegas DeLuxe sends congratulations and Happy Birthday wishes to Penn ahead of his Thursday celebration. The outrageously sized image will grace the southeast side of the resort casino.
*Former Planet Hollywood chieftain Mike Mecca, long loved in the Vegas gaming community, is the newest hometown hero to head over to Macau. Mike confirmed to me that he’s going into head-to-head rivalry against two Vegas strip moguls heading up six of the Galaxy Gaming operations in Asia. That includes existing casino resorts on the main Macau island directly alongside Steve Wynn’s casino there and also on the Cotai Strip island project alongside Sheldon Adelson’s planned Vegas Sands project. He and his wife, Sandy, depart tomorrow on their first house-hunting trip.
