Jeff McBride wraps up global travels and wins Lecturer of the Year Award

Congratulations to our magical friend Jeff McBride on his win as Lecturer of the Year at the 41st Annual Academy of Magical Arts Awards show held at the Avalon Hollywood Theater.

Jeff, who lives, teaches and performs the art of prestidigitation in Las Vegas, has just returned from traveling to England and Peru. In Blackpool, Jeff taught a three-day magic Master Class to more than 3,500 conjurers at the 57th Annual British convention. In Peru, Jeff taught a six-hour Master Class in magic to more than 75 magicians and joined famed magician Juan Tamariz in his late-night lectures.

While on the subject of magic, the new episodes of Masters of Illusion returned to MyNetworkTV last night with Vegas headliners Mac King (Harrah’s) and Rick Thomas (Tropicana). Next Monday night, Planet Hollywood headliner Scarlet, Flamingo attraction Nathan Burton and Krave kingpin Amazing Johnathan will be featured in the lineup of 16 magicians.
