Photo Gallery: Our mayor’s showgirls are gorgeous in and out of costume

When our merry Mayor of Mirth Oscar Goodman is constantly out and about promoting our city as the best tourist destination in the world, he invariably receives assistance from some very sexy showgirls, and his wife, Carolyn, doesn’t seem to mind when the gorgeous glamour girls bedecked in little more than sequins and feathers escort her hubby!

I’ve met the bejeweled beauties many times, and it wasn’t until a recent rendezvous that I discovered that they’re just as beautiful out of costume. In fact, if one of them wasn’t holding a large shopping bag of feathered headdresses, I would’ve never known they were Oscar’s six pack.

We rode a helicopter together out to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for NASCAR, and I asked politely if I could snap photos of them dressed and undressed. Well, not exactly, but I wanted them in their street clothes!

So here for the first time are some of the beauties dressed both ways! I can’t reveal names, ages or other details, but suffice to say most are married moms who gave up the life of dancing as casino showgirls in various theatrical spectaculars. They traded their career choice to become loving wives, but their part-time gig with the mayor helps them keep in shape and fit!

I tip my hat to them, and we all say thank you for making Mayor Goodman always look great and for being the most attractive ambassadors any city could ever wish to have!
