Photo Galleries: Tony Curtis and Dan Aykroyd peddle their wares in Vegas
By Robin Leach
Tony Curtis scans the pages of his autobiography American Prince: A Memoir. The book was co-written with author Peter Golenbock, who is known for his 1975 book Dynasty: The New York Yankees 1949-1964.

Legendary actor Tony Curtis celebrated the release of his new book American Prince: A Memoir with a meet-and-greet autograph signing at the Luxor. Our contributing photographer Erik Kabik was there when Tony showed up in his Beatles Sgt. Pepper T-shirt.
You remember that the album features an image of the actor? Tony posed happily for photos in the resort’s Aurora Lounge. When asked if he enjoys being blinded by the flashbulbs, he replied: “I never get tired of it. Sixty-one years of doing it, and I still love it.”
Our always-looming lens man Erik was on duty again when comedy actor Dan Aykroyd launched his line of wines at Lee’s Discount Liquor stores here. Dan started with tequila, moved on to vodka and now has his own wines!
Fans lined up around the building and brought wine bottles, DVDs, CDs, posters, banjos and even statues of Elwood to sign. Dan drove himself over from L.A. in his black Lincoln Navigator for the signing sessions.
He was happy that some fans had even brought the unique skull-shaped bottles of his Crystal Head vodka for signing! Dan says the new wines are great -- “just let the Cabernet breathe for 30 minutes before drinking, and it’s marvelous.”
