Holly Madison is spotted at the Luxor; mayor preps for his dance challenge

Just one month after her romance with Believe magician Criss Angel fizzled out, The Girls Next Door star Holly Madison was back under the roof of the Luxor pyramid tonight -- it’s where she lived for the four months the couple were dating!
Don’t jump to conclusions, but I also can reveal that she was backstage -- and in a star dressing room! Criss appears there nightly in the $100 million Cirque du Soleil Believe spectacular. We’ll update the full story with exclusive photos later this weekend.
The platinum blonde Playboy cover girl beauty is here on a three-day private visit before returning back to L.A. on Sunday for Monday’s dress rehearsal and the next broadcast of ABC’s top-rated Dancing With the Stars.
Holly Madison and Dmitry Chaplin at Delgado Dance Studios in Summerlin.
I talked with Holly and her professional TV dance partner Dmitry Chaplin in an exclusive interview at a dance studio after she’d rehearsed for six hours in front of the ABC cameras. She will rehearse again all day tomorrow for another six hours!
Kids learning ballroom dancing at the studio and their parents, all of whom are following her progress on Season 8, swarmed Holly. Dmitry and she happily posed for photos with them, and, despite the fact they’d been exercising, sweating, running and jumping with the workout all day, they gave me an OK for this exclusive Vegas DeLuxe photo!
“My feet are killing me,” Holly laughed, stretched out on the floor of the studio. We will have the full interview Monday in advance of the broadcast, along with other secrets of her private Vegas rehearsals. She also has designed the short, sexy outfit she’ll wear when she dances the samba on the telecast.
Holly is staying in a private home with a friend here rather than dealing with a crowded March Madness Strip hotel weekend. “It’s much closer for the rehearsals,” she explained. But tomorrow night after a dinner at Planet Hollywood, she’ll host a party at Prive before an early Sunday flight back for another six-hour rehearsal!
Kelly Monaco of Peep Show.
Plans for her to meet up with DWTS Season 1 winner Kelly Monaco, who is about to open in the adult burlesque cabaret Peep Show, fell through due to delays in that cast starting dress rehearsals in their new theater today as heavy props, scenery and a sexy red car were hoisted in. Click HERE for our story this afternoon.
“I’ll be back within two weeks, and if I’m still on the show, we’ll film it then,” Holly told me. “Kelly is a good friend and wants to give me some valuable pointers. I need all the help I can get, so we’ll shoot that next time I get back!”
Remember to check back here over the weekend for the photos from her backstage visit to the Luxor and again Monday with our interview in advance of the show!
Mayor Oscar Goodman.
Mayor is putting his best foot forward
I also can exclusively reveal that our good-guy Mayor Oscar Goodman is about to learn the tango for his own Dancing With the Stars challenge. He confirmed to me tonight that he’s a terrible dancer, “so bad I can’t even say I can dance.” But he will rehearse with a professional teaching partner in his City Hall office for the “Trip the Light Fantastic” children’s charity fundraiser “just to get a few steps down so I don't fall,” he said. Check back Monday for that full exclusive story, too!
