Injured Dancing With the Stars contestant Holly Madison is in “substantial pain” but plans to dance on Monday’s fourth show of Season 8. Click HERE for our breaking news story last night about her injury.

I checked in this afternoon with Holly’s press rep, Steve Flynn, following up on our report last night that medics had been called to the rehearsal studio. Holly was treated with prescription painkillers after she keeled over from chronic pain in her ribs.

Holly had been badly bruised while rehearsing here in Las Vegas last week, but she refused to complain, notify anybody or let it interfere with the grueling practice sessions.

“She is a fighter and a determined young lady,” Steve told me. “Holly plans to dance on Monday’s show.”

If she isn’t KO’d by the pain, Holly will dance the Argentine tango with her pro partner Dmitry Chaplin.
