No less than five celebrity birthdays were celebrated over the past 48 hours here on the Strip, with stars from both show business and sports!
The Sopranos star Michael Imperioli arrived from New York with his wife Victoria, brother John and other friends for his 43rd birthday blast, which began at Tao in The Venetian. A decorated birthday cake was brought to their table after the dinner feast, but Michael ordered it sent up to their suite so they could hit Tao nightclub. They reached their VIP table, and the club’s stunning servers brought out a stack of cupcakes and sparklers as DJ Reach led the revelers there in a “Happy Birthday” sing-along. Their celebration continued over the weekend with a day at the opening of Tao Beach, followed by another birthday dinner celebration at the neighboring and sister restaurant Lavo in the Palazzo.
Over at Prive in Planet Hollywood, The Office star Jenna Fischer celebrated her 35th birthday with cupcakes and champagne. The cupcakes were formed into the logo of her hit NBC comedy, in which she portrays receptionist Pam Beesly. Jenna arrived with Adam Said, and they spent three hours partying there with friends and family.
Stunning and sexy Sara Underwood, Playboy’s 2007 Playmate of the Year, celebrated her 25th birthday at Tabu ultra lounge in MGM. Male admirers and other onlookers caused a traffic jam as she posed for photos in a short, strappy dress that mesmerized the crowd! Sara was presented with a birthday cake after the blonde bombshell wrapped up a marathon autograph-signing session. She danced and partied until the predawn hours!
Mekhi Phifer, right, celebrates his wife Oni's birthday at Blush in the Wynn with friend Darrel and his date.
Actor Mekhi Phifer of the long-running NBC series ER treated his wife Oni to her birthday celebration at Blush in the Wynn. Although they had a table on the outdoor patio, they spent most of the night on the dance floor in the center of the crowd. Mekhi, who co-starred with Eminem in 8 Mile, ordered up Veuve Cliquot rose champagne and Grey Goose vodka for their celebration with their friend Darrel and his lovely date.
Finally, NFL free agent Melvin Fowler celebrated his 30th birthday at N9NE Steakhouse in the Palms, and his orange jacket ensemble received raves from his party of 25 friends feasting on miniature shellfish platter starters and followed by 12-ounce filet mignon steaks! A huge chocolate cake was made especially at Melvin’s request for dessert.
