Congratulations to the cast of Jersey Boys, the musical based on the life story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, as they celebrate their first anniversary at the Palazzo on Sunday -- and begin their second successful year! Jersey Boys has been doing strong business since its opening and being named one of the bests show in Las Vegas.
Tomorrow at 9:50 a.m., the cast, in honor of its first anniversary, will present a medley of songs in a rare live performance on the 3rd Street Stage at the downtown Fremont Street Experience to support the Susan G. Komen cancer charity run. On Sunday night, the cast will be presented with a cake to celebrate the anniversary at the curtain call finale in their Palazzo theater.
Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons: Frankie, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. The brilliant musical tells the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest U.S. pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide -- all before they were 30 years old!
Jersey Boys cast members Jason Martinez, Erich Bergen, Travis Cloer and Deven May flank Carrie Underwood.
The show features such hits as “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “Oh, What a Night,” and many more.
“Las Vegas has proven itself to be a great home for Jersey Boys during the last year,” said producer Michael David. “We are honored that the community has fully embraced the show, and we look forward to sharing this remarkable true story with Las Vegas audiences for a long time to come.”
