Actor Wilmer Valderrama made his first day off from three months of filming into a real vacation celebration. Yesterday, Wilmer flew into Las Vegas and spent the day with friends at Tao Beach’s private tops-optional swim club at The Venetian.
At sunset, they moved down to Lavo in the Palazzo to sample the new Italian menu and ordered Kobe meatballs, rib eye steaks and seafood alfredo. Our contributing photographers Denise Truscello, Erik Kabik and Scott Harrison were on duty for our photo gallery of red carpet and interior shots.
After dinner, the That ’70s Show star headed upstairs to the Lavo nightclub to really start his Cinco de Mayo party. He jumped on the mic to rev up the crowd and shouted, “No Cinco de Mayo is complete until you hear the mariachis.” On command, the mariachi band marched in to play and was followed by a Latin music set from DJ Five.

Brooke Hogan turns 21
Over at Pure in Caesars Palace, reality TV starlet Brooke Hogan merged her Cinco de Mayo blast with her 21st birthday celebration. She hit the red carpet late night so she would be entering the celebrity-studded nightspot at the stroke of midnight to observe our casino liquor laws.

At 12:01 a.m. today, Brooke really got the celebration started. Her dad Hulk Hogan and his new girlfriend Jennifer McDaniels and Brooke’s brother Nick flew in to join her for the fun birthday fiesta. Hulk wore his traditional head bandana, a black T-shirt from his own designer line and jeans. They all had dinner first at celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck’s Spago. Although Nick walked the red carpet in a show of support, he could not enter the nightclub because he’s still a teenager!
Brooke was joined by hip-hop recording artist Stack$, with whom she recently recorded a duet, and when the DJ played the track, Brooke, dressed in a skin-tight, bust-accentuating turquoise cocktail dress, went down to the dance floor where she was mobbed by fans.

Then the Vegas Pussycat Dolls wheeled in a birthday cake shaped in a perfect star cutout, and the lingerie-clad burlesque beauties sang “Happy Birthday” to Brooke as she blew out the candles. Hulk got on the DJ’s mic and thanked everybody for coming to party with his daughter. Brooke called it a night just after 2:30 a.m., and when she wakes up, we’ll have the rest of the birthday party photos!
