ABC set to shoot Wife Swap at our San Gennaro Festival

Las Vegas entertainer Tony Sacca has been involved with the San Gennaro Festival that opened here last night since 1982 and once again has been booking the entertainment for our 30th annual feast. Last year, he introduced the Fulco family’s kids Jessie, 9, on bass and daughter Joei, 12, on guitar, and they proved such a smash hit, Tony brought them back again this year.

Now the kids are bringing the rest of the family: father Joey, who plays five instruments, and mom Vanessa on keyboard, plus daughter Stevie, 5, and Tyler, 3. ABC’s Wife Swap plans to have Vanessa change families next week, so the TV cameras will show her last gig as music-maker with her family before they get a new wife and mom.

Tony introduces the Fulcos at 8 p.m. tomorrow night. Joey has no idea if his replacement wife will be musically inclined! You can meet the Fulcos at their Web sites: www.thefulcofamily.com and www.thefulcos.com.

Tony told me: “They are like a real-life, modern-day Partridge Family. It was totally unexpected that they were picked for Wife Swap, and even more so when we discovered the cameras will be rolling while they are performing at San Gennaro.”

The Fulcos are about to release their first single, and on Sunday will hold an at-home backyard barbecue listening party so friends can recommend the best single. They are in discussions for their own TV reality show sitcom!
