At just 22 years old, Emmy Rossum is on a fast track to stardom: She can tackle New York’s Metropolitan Opera or a weapon-wielding wild one in Dragonball Evolution, plus the silver screen adores her.

Emmy is making Las Vegas her second home, and you can read all about her in this month’s new edition of our sister publication Vegas magazine. She’s already looking for a getaway condo, and thankfully her aunt and uncle own Rossum Realty, so she has the inside track on all the real estate developments in our valley.

Emmy admits to liking the bright lights of the Strip with all of its action, but she isn’t one for all-night clubbing. “ I’m happy with a great lounge act,” she says! The exclusive interview shows her to be a charming mixture of disarming candor and philosophical contemplation -- and she’s just 22!

Emmy is proud of her turn in Clint Eastwood’s Mystic River -- her breakout role, followed by the hit The Day After Tomorrow with Jake Gyllenhaal and the recent big-screen adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera with Gerard Butler and Patrick Wilson, in which she did her own singing -- and Dragonball Evolution, to be released this year. “I’d never held a gun before. I’m such a pacifist. I’d never done any martial arts,” she confided.

“When else am I ever going to get to wear a latex cat suit and shout, ‘Did you steal my dragonball?’ ” she laughed.

Robin Leach has been a journalist for more than 50 years and has spent the past decade giving readers the inside scoop on Las Vegas, the world’s premier platinum playground.
