Will viewers propel underdogs Ty and Chelsie into DWTS finals?

It’s been a viewer-voting phenomenon as week after week dancing partners Ty Murray and our Las Vegas-born heroine Chelsie Hightower have narrowly escaped certain elimination on Dancing With the Stars.

But tonight, we are down to the semifinals of Season 8 of ABC’s top-rated show, and the three judges’ scores will really reflect the final four standings. However many fans vote, nobody believes that Ty and Chelsie will dominate any longer over the remaining couples: Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke, Melissa Rycroft with Tony Dovolani and Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas. But, as we all know, there have been upsets at every twist and turn of this accident-prone season.

Meantime, we already knew that Las Vegas Academy’s Julianne Hough won’t be returning for Season 9 while she pursues her singing and acting career, but it now appears that brother Derek won’t be returning, either. It looks as if Mark and Derek will be exiting the show to further their Ballas Hough Band now that their debut album BHB has been released.

Vegas DeLuxe will have the judges’ scoring moments after the West Coast transmission back to the East Coast tonight. Be sure to check back for our spoiler alert story.
